The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools interviewed 326 people
- parents, faculty and students - reviewed the curriculum and
identified accomplishments the week of September 24th, 2007. The review board ultimately recommended
accreditation for the school system.
"We're delighted. Our main focus is the quality of education for
the boys and girls of Peach County," said Deputy Superintendent of
Curriculum Doris Wilkinson. Accreditation deems the school district a quality school system
and validates the curriculum. Once awarded the accreditation, the
district will work closely with the review board to improve education.
